Angel of the Flowers

Angel of the Flowers ornament

This ornament is made with the Butterfly Angel,
Roses, and Pansies Push Molds.

Three molds combine in this elegant piece. The miniature roses were made by pressing tiny balls of clay into the center of the smallest rose mold. The tiny leaves used only the tip of the small leaf mold. A twisted ring of Terra Cotta Fimo® forms the polymer clay foundation. After baking, the pieces were painted with Delta Ceramcoat® Soft Tints and the twisted ring was finished with metallic Rub 'n Buff®. The pieces were attached with Arts & Crafts Goop to an embroidered lace appliqué and filigree jewelry finding. Check the Painting Tips page for step-by-step photos for the face.
