There is something to be said for the simplicity of a one-layer card. Here, several digital images were combined in Photoshop and then printed. This card would also be cute with a second balloon raised on a pop-dot above the first layer. Inspiration for the two vertical score lines comes from Sue Nelson at HeartPrints.net.
Digital stamping images from AngelsLanding.com: Aussie Animals, Pierced Tags, Faux Stitched Borders, Seasonal Borders, and Pierced Backgrounds.
Materials: good quality white cardstock, dotted black grosgrain ribbon, a glue dot for the tag.
Craft supplies: Needle piercing tool, sharp scissors, art supplies for coloring or painting, Scor-Pal and scoring tool.
Techniques: The koala image was printed with a laser printer on artist quality watercolor paper and painted with watercolors. For inkjet printers, colored pencils or art markers could also be used. The colored image was then scanned and digitally placed in this card layout so that several color copies could be printed.
