Scrapbook Layout Description
This layout for an 8" x 8" album combines digital elements with traditional scrapbooking techniques. The textured areas are recycled dryer sheets that have been torn, colored with watercolors, and heat set.
Materials & Techniques
Digital stamping images from AngelsLanding.com: Pierced Flowers, Pierced Tags, Pierced Backgrounds,and Faux Stitched Borders.
Materials: glossy photograph, white, lavender, and maroon high quality cardstock, buttons, sheer ribbon, used dryer sheet.
Craft supplies: Needle piercing tool, mouse pad, sharp detail scissors, paper trimmer, art supplies for coloring or painting, white gel marker, glue dots, double-sided tape runner, iron or heat gun (for heat setting).
Techniques: Text was digitally added to the tag before printing. Strips of maroon cardstock were pierced, then cut with a paper trimmer; the "stitches" were drawn with a white gel pen.
