The newest set of Angels Landing™ digital stamping images, Mini Bears and Birds, includes a teddy bear named Chubby Cubby. His saying is, “When you’re a chubby cub, there’s more of you to love.” This is his closeup photo from my bearmaking book.

This artist teddy bear came in two sizes, 11" and 14". You’ll notice that the heart-shaped pillow is embroidered with a small Bearly Adequate, the bear introduced on my blog a few days ago.

Meet Chubby Cubby. The Mini Bears & Birds set includes six versions of this drawing: bear and quill pen, bear alone, and quill only — all in both black and brown. The extra items in this set, such as the quill, can be used for accents inside cards or on envelopes. Thirteen sentiments are also provided, many of them playing on the words “beary” or “bearly.” Just don’t read them all at once. (Groan)

The bears in this set print at about 3" to 3.5" high at 300 dpi. You probably already know that digital images can be scaled smaller. When the bears are printed at 50% size or 600 dpi, they match the size of the original mini drawings. The smaller size is good for Clean and Simple (CAS) card sketches, as well as tags, bookmarks, and gift enclosure cards.
