I should go on vacation more often. Earlier this week I took time off to spend with our out-of-town guests. The design team had the week off as well, although they had the option to do a little something extra for Thursday if they wanted. Just take a look at the fun projects that Cheryl, Lauri, and Alma came up with all on their own.
Envelope Box with Matching Notepad Cover by Cheryl Walker
This envelope box is constructed from a 6" x 12" piece of cardstock. It is decorated with assorted ribbons, trims, flowers, and bling. The "Just Because" tag comes from the Pierced Tags digital stamps set.
You’ll find a mini tutorial on Cheryl’s blog with step-by-step photos showing how to construct this project.

This is Cheryl’s matching Post-it notepad cover. The bunny digi-stamps are from the Toys on Wheels set. She has used Stickles on the bunnies’ ears, on their tails, and on the centers of the wheels. Check Cheryl’s blog for more photos.

Paper Pieced Zinnia Card by Lauri Ingram
Lauri used the medium zinnia from the Pierced Flowers set to try paper piecing. The images are so easy to paper piece. Just print on designer paper and off you go. For glitz, she added Stickles to all the individual piercing dots on the petals, as well as rhinestones around the flower’s center.

July 4th Party Favors by Lauri Ingram
This quick and easy party favor using the Pierced Flowers set comes together so quickly. Daisies from the digi-stamp set were printed on designer paper and attached to toothpicks. Glitter highlights were added as the toothpicks stand in a votive holder full of M&M’s.

Little Lamb CD Holder by Alma Olhava
Alma chose to use the lamb image from the Toys on Wheels digi-stamp set to create a simple CD holder inspired by Steph315 from SplitcoastStampers. This houses a CD full of pictures from her son’s preschool graduation last May from Little Lambs Preschool. The lamb is adorned with glitter for some sparkle.

Sparky Puppy Gift Set by Alma Olhava
This project just goes to show that the new Angels Landing baby digi-stamps sets not only cater to our human counterparts but our beloved pets as well. Alma created a three-piece gift set for a new puppy, starting with this cute card. The dog is from the Toys on Wheels set, and the blank tag is from Pierced Tags.
Alma’s matching small treat box full of dog biscuits was inspired by Tracy Harp’s Animal Crackers box on Inky Doodles. What a wonderful way to welcome a new furry member of the family.
Alma also decorated a 5×7 acrylic frame to show off pictures of the new puppy. She customized it with the puppy’s name on the bottom. The S-P-A-R-K-Y letters come from the Alphabet Train digi-stamps set. Visit Alma’s blog to see a larger photo of the full gift set together.
