This month Angels Landing is going international. Our Guest Designer for August is Godelieve Tijskens from Belgium. Many of you already know her through her popular blog, Stamping Mathilda.

Welkom, Godelieve. Ik ben zo blij dat u ook bij ons deze maand.

That’s the extent of my Dutch, thanks to Google Translate. It’s supposed to say, “Welcome, Godelieve. I’m so glad you’ll be joining us this month.” Luckily, Godelieve is much more proficient at English than I am at Dutch.

Ladybug “Thank You” Tag by Godelieve Tijskens

One of the reasons I invited Godelieve is that she approaches her designing so creatively. She took one look at a flower bud from the Pierced Flowers set and thought to add legs to make it a ladybug instead. How cute is that idea?

This “thank you” tag is going to brighten up someone’s day — not only by the cheerful colors, but also by the cute ladybugs, which are created by drawing feet on a flower bud. The bug’s spots are already there. The smaller flower motifs come from the Seasonal Borders digi-stamps set.
