Blog Hop – New August Releases
Can you believe how fast the summer has gone? It’s already time for the August Blog Hop. Today we’re introducing two new digital image sets, and this month is all about cats.
The Inspiration . . .
Several years ago, I sculpted a line of Push Molds that were manufactured by AMACO, American Art Clay Company. Polymer clay, such as Fimo, can be pushed into a mold, removed, and baked until hard. After curing, I painted these samples with washes of acrylic paint.

My molds are no longer in production, but the Cats Push Molds are obviously the inspiration for my latest illustrations for digital stamps.
Cats and Kittens
The first new digi-stamps set features two cats and two kittens, all drawn by hand. There are several different versions of the drawings, both individually and together in groups.
This digi-stamp set includes 10 files. For more information, see Cats and Kittens Digital Stamps.
Cat Paw Prints
The second set includes two kittens in profile, a paw print border, and three circular sentiments to mix and match. Images from both of the new cats sets can be combined.
The three circular sentiments in this digi-stamp set are each presented in three versions: one large, one small, and one inside a round tag. There are 14 files in all. For more information, see Cat Paw Prints Digital Stamps.
Are you ready to Blog Hop?
The design team has made some adorable samples to showcase these new digital stamps. My blog is the first one in the Blog Hop, and I’m linking to the second. The second blog links to the third
This is the order of the Design Team members and Guest Designers participating in this week’s Blog Hop. If you get lost, you can come back here and click any links you might have skipped. You’ll want to start at the top of the list so that you don’t miss anything. 8/17/09 update: The August Blog Candy offers are now closed.

Have a paws-itively fun time on the Blog Hop, and I hope you’ll enjoy seeing all of the designers’ purr-fect creations made with the new cats image sets.
