Vellum Birthday Flowers by Godelieve
Our Guest Designer for August, Godelieve Tijskens, has designed a special birthday card for us this week. It features layered flowers placed on the long diagonal, a simple but distinctive layout.
Greeting Card with Vellum Flowers
This birthday card was created in a monochromatic color scheme. It has a vellum layer, attached with real stitching, and a row of vellum flowers. Pierced Flowers are printed on colored vellum and cream cardstock.
The closeup photo shows the zigzag stitching detailing. The “Birthday Wishes” sentiment is from the Pierced Tags collection.
You’ll find more of Godelieve’s work featured on her blog: Stamping Mathilda. The main Design Team will be here on Wednesday with their interpretations of this week’s theme, Back to School. Hope to see you again then.
